We met Leslee at one of her listings. She was helpful without being in any way pushy. After m eeting her, she sent via e-mail a few listings. When I had questions, she answered in a timely manner. When we wanted to see a property, she arranged it to our timing. And even met us as walk ons on the ferry, which gave us time to be together, to get to know one another better, but also saved us a few dollars. Once we purchased, she helped us through the process, making it all very logical and clear. We have found her to be a consummate professional, very honest and likeable. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a property. With no reservations.

Leslee Cooper helped us buy two homes in different parts of town, Kitsilano in November 2015 and East Vancouver in November 2017. Leslee knew both neighbourhoods extremely well and both experiences were fantastic. My husband and I felt very well taken care of throughout and we appreciated how thorough and detail-oriented Leslee is. For instance, despite assurances from the sellers that there was no oil tank on the property, Leslee decided to do an extra scan and found an oil tank. This was after we had an accepted offer so she negotiated with the sellers that they would be responsible for removing the oil tank before completion and she protected our interests by drafting an addendum to the contract to this effect that everyone signed. This saved us potentially tens of thousands of dollars if we had discovered this years later and had to pay to remove it ourselves. Also with the first purchase of the Kitsilano property Leslee achieved the impossible: she negotiated an accepted offer that was $50k under asking in a very hot market when there was also the threat of another offer coming in. We we’re very impressed and grateful for the extra oil tank scan and the price savings. When we decided to buy an investment property in East Vancouver we didn’t even consider using any other agents because Leslee has so much personal integrity and a positive attitude that she’s very easy to do business with. We were prepared to offer full asking price in order to secure the property because we understood that there was another couple also interested. However, Leslee pointed out that there would be a lot of renovation costs with this house so she recommended that we offer $41k under asking and then negotiate upwards if we had to. The sellers accepted and once again Leslee’s superb business acumen and strategic thinking achieved a substantial savings that will pay for some of the renovations. We were thrilled. I always enjoy the days that I go house hunting with Leslee. Before we start she takes specific instructions from us about our criteria and then she scouts the entire city for properties in that range. We set off with a list of properties and their particulars and we strike them off as we go and highlight the favourites. At the end of the day we circle back and my husband meets us at the top choices. Above all it’s FUN to spend a day talking about real estate with Leslee because she’s so knowledgeable and curious but it’s also highly productive and time well spent. I highly recommend Leslee Cooper as a realtor and as a wonderfully kind and honest human being.
