Hello! Great to meet you! I’m Leslee Cooper, a top RE/MAX Crest REALTOR®, selling homes on the Sunshine Coast and in Vancouver.
What do I love about the Sunshine Coast? Clean air and clean water are most important to me, whether I am drinking it or swimming in it or paddling in it! The rural lifestyle contributes to the sense of quiet and calmness that I grew up with and know only too well. The ability to head to the beach every day after work with a lawn chair and to be able to swim and watch the sunset while eating my picnic dinner fill my soul!
I like being able to head up the mountain by 4:30 for a ride after work, and climb, climb, climb to experience tranquillity and nature only 5 minutes by car away, yet a world away when on a mountain bike! When we bike, we often see no one except maybe a bear or two. We ride for 90 minutes and head home feeling re-energized, fulfilled and happy to just ‘be’. Alternatively, I like being able to decide at 6 p.m. that I am going to head up to the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club and golf 11; heading out alone on the course, with only the yelps of the coyotes to keep me company. Golfing and enjoying the peace and nature, wondering if I should wield a club in case a pack of coyotes comes running, are things that make me whole. My kids live in Vancouver, and after attending UBC they tell me they will never return to the coast – and that’s okay. It’s a short ferry ride….and it allows me a lifestyle I love.
Working as a real estate agent is a position I take seriously. I have engaged the services of a private business coach for the last 5 years, and I always try to do my best. As a result of coaching, I have developed a method of working by referral, ensuring my clients are so happy with the service I provide to them that they refer me to all of their family and friends.
I have great success selling properties on the coast and have achieved Medallion Club, Platinum level, and the RE/MAX Hall of Fame award. I contribute to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the Children’s Miracle Network and have been a participant in the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
I care about the environment, riding my bike in Vancouver whenever it’s not necessary to take a car; I am trying to figure out ways to eliminate the use of plastic in my life, and hopefully others; I meditate and do yoga, and believe that exercising and eating healthy are important to quality of life. I love to travel and adventure. I think as I age, I need to let go of material objects and instead become a gypsy. I hope you have enjoyed getting to know me….I’d love to assist you in attaining your real estate goals.
